  • Abstract
The paper used water, glycerol and caprolactam as compound plasticizers to plasticize biodegradable material which was made by soy protein isolate modified by PEG400.Used the extension and tensile strength of the material as the index. And also utilize DSC to study the plasticizers on Tg in protein material. The study turned out that the properties of material have improved a lot after plasticizing. The elongation at break, tensile strength and transmittance of the material is separately 17.9 MPa, 353.7% and 40.6%. This paper also studied the biodegradation of the material, it turned out that the material had a good biodegradability: When aspergillus niger was cultured for 10 days, the biodegradability can be achieved V (microorganism growth area reached to 100%).
