  • Abstract
    In atmosphere laser communication, the optical collimated system with different types of optical source have different the luminous energy coupling efficiency, the luminous energy coupling efficiency of optical collimated system also influences the transfer distance. Through analyzing the law that the luminous energy coupling efficiency of Hermite-Gaussian beams varies with the numerical aperture of optical collimated system, and determining the numerical aperture of optical collimated system based on luminous energy coupling efficiency, which is different from the method of determining numerical aperture in the imaging optics system, this paper proposes an effective method to determine the numerical aperture of Hermite-Gaussian beams optical collimated system in atmosphere laser communication.
