Abstract :
A project to significantly restructure the way the design of digital logic circuits is taught in the Electrical Engineering School at Purdue University is underway. The chief motivation is to take advantage of recent advances in computer and communications technology to enhance the teaching and learning of engineering. Areas of activity have included the use of computers in the classroom to facilitate teaching and learning, creation of homework problems and other learning activities which make use of logic system simulation software, and development of an electronic knowledge-base for digital logic design
