Abstract :
In order to enhance the overall control of unattended substations, especially the control for accurate online temperature surveillance, this study tries to build a remote image monitoring system with infrared temperature measurement function, in order to realize the action with the alarm for the overheating equipment. This paper introduces the technical theory and method of realization in terms of infrared temperature measurement technology and how to achieve the infrared image control. The infrared thermometer application of long distance substation image control system can guarantee the reliability of the operation of power devices. It makes the substation become truly unattended on duty so that it can improve the automation level of the power system and the grid can operate more safely, stably and economically.
