  • Abstract
    As special type of vehicle, agricultural equipment cab is more complex, with components for both driving and farming. Before designing agricultural equipment cab, the ergonomic characteristics and hierarchy were analyzed. Then the parameterized design method and virtual reality (VR) technology were studied, and the Virtual Design System of Agricultural Equipment Cab was established based on software engineering, ergonomics and object-oriented design method. A set of model library agricultural equipment cab was established by OpenGL 3D computer graph software interface, and the design data were managed by linked list and transferred by socket. The typical agricultural equipment cabs such as tractor and combine harvester were designed with this system, which could be displayed in virtual environment simultaneously for further inspection.
