Abstract :
In this paper the author examined the interpolation rationale of Kriging, selected a semivariogram model appropriately after the analysis of sampled data, and conducted the Kriging interpolation of measured magnetic data. The accuracy of the Kriging interpolation was also compared with that of other interpolation methods through cross validation, and the comparison shows that the geomagnetic gridding data acquired through the common Kriging interpolation are of higher accuracy and can reflect better the characteristics of regional geomagnetism.
