  • Abstract
In this paper, the virtual reality maintenance system not only can realize rapid maintenance of mechanical equipment by the virtual disassembly, but also may count the maintenance time as well as the maintenance cost. This system can carry out the pre-analysis and maintenance pre-treatment to the equipment failure, and may provide the reliable data of maintenance, and improve maintainability of coalmine equipments. The virtual operation may determine the component disassembly sequence, the space that maintenance work needs, and estimate maintenance work time, maintenance cost and so on. The system is validated to be practical through its application in a coalmine decelerator project.
