Abstract :
A novel device called the variable capacitance device is proposed whose capacitance is varied by an independent control voltage. It has been shown that a Schwarz circuit and a buck-type resonant converter can be regulated under a fixed switching frequency by applying this device to the capacitor of the LC resonant tank. This device can be used to regulate other resonant converters in the same way.<>
