Abstract
This paper presents the results of a power quality study on nonlinear fluorescent lighting systems. The pattern of harmonics production from fluorescent lamps with central electronic dimming controller, and its relation to the DDF (dimming degree factor) are found. Also, the patterns of harmonic production from some other individual fluorescent systems and their combinations. And their relations to supply voltage distortions are modelled by the method of neural networks
