Abstract :
It is signification to recover copper from copper slag. Copper slag is pretreated by mechanochemistry action. Optimal mechanochemistry activation time is mensurated. The pretreated copper slag slurry is fed into anode area of slurry electrolysis cell, and the pure fine copper powder will be gotten in the cathode area. The size of copper powder can be controlled by adjusting the following operation factors: electric current density, electrolyte pH, the distance between electrode pole, the temperature of electrolyte and the frequency of scraping. Some of above factors and copper powder size distribution have been studied, and some useful rules of how to control the size distribution of copper powder have been gotten.
