Abstract
The aluminium foam can be reinforced by compositing ZrO2 ceramic balls with high hardness. Using the precursor composed of the salt particals and ceramic balls, the sample of aluminium foam composite is prepared by the suction infiltration process. Using orthogonal test, the paper analyzes the influencing factors on infiltrating height such as preheating temperature (A), pouring temperature(B), suction pressure(C), ZrO2 content (D) and generalizes that the degree of influence is A>;C>;B>;D. The basis of selecting technical parameters are summarized through theory analysis and calculation. The research results will establish a basement on the application research of the new aluminium foam composite.
