Abstract
This paper described a head detection using separability filter. Authors have succeeded in making the sound area only in a local high sound area at 500 mm diameter by using the loudspeaker array system. This is called a sound spot. In this research, it is tried to form this sound spot around the head by using vision. Personpsilas head is detected by using the image obtained from the camera attached to the position higher than the head of person, such as a ceiling. The peoplepsilas head regard to a circle when it is seen from right over head. Therefore the head is detected by using separability filter. And sound spot is formed there.
