Abstract :
Workflow simulation is the prevalent approach to analyze workflow model dynamically. Generic method for workflow simulation is a kind of discrete event simulation, which is lack of flexibility and scalability. In this paper, we proposed a workflow simulation framework based on multi-agent cooperation to solve this problem. Social rationality of agent is introduced into the proposed framework. Adopting rationality as decision making strategies, flexible scheduling of activity instances is achieved. A simulation prototype is developed to validate the proposed framework.
