Abstract :
With the ever increasing number of EMC compliance requirements that information technology equipment (ITE) must meet in order to satisfy world wide shipments, the job of an EMC engineer is getting more and more difficult. In this paper the challenges and solutions associated with designing large scale computing systems to meet the miscellaneous EMC requirements are given using the latest IBM S/390 Z900 CMOS mainframe system as an example.
