  • Abstract
It introduces a temperature-controlling system based on TEC in this paper. This system includes two part: hardware and software system, used a STC89C52 MCU as the core controlling unit, and a TEC-12706 as the main working component. The hardware part includes monitor, temperature acquisition, relay switches and voltage conversion modules as well. SCM turns a relay on or off by comparing DS18B20 collected real-time temperature with threshold temperature, subsequently controlled the cooler work. Tests shows that at an open environment temperature about 30°C, the lowest temperature of the cooler surface could be controlled at about 13°C, power 9w, which achieves the automatic temperature-controlling function basically.
