  • Abstract
    The UV(Ultra-violet) light sensors for sun light monitor has been demonstrated by the novel UV sensor based on thin film SOI(Silicon On Insulator) technology, which is applied the thin film feature of selectively high sensitivity at the UV wavelength region. The new UV sensor IC is embedded the peripheral circuit to convert the detected photo-current to analog voltage output. As the results, the UV sensor detects the UV power in the sun light successfully. This paper also shows the estimation results of the UV Index, which is the generally indication of UV power in the sun light.
