Abstract :
With Landes Goose as experimental materials, we adopted the RT-PCR method to research the expression characteristic of MTP gene in liver, intestine, brain, Pectoralis muscle, Hamstring muscles, Skin+subcutaneous adipose tissue , Abdominal adipose tissue and heart at 5 growth points , including 1 , 10 , 13, 14 , and 16 weeks and also the effect of overfeeding on MTP gene expression in liver and intestine was researched. The results indicated : the expression of MTP gene was detected only in the small intestine at 1 weeks; except in the liver and intestinal tissues, MTP gene was firstly discovered in the brain tissues in the 10 weeks old geese; the expression level of MTP gene in liver and intesine increased dependent with the increase of week age (P <; 0.05); the expression of MTP gene was intestine> liver at 1 to 13 week age, intestine<; liver at 13 to 16 week age reversely; overfeeding induced the decrease of expression of MTP gene in the liver, and the increase in the intestine. Therefore, We inferred MTP gene was a very important of the fat deposition and transfer in Landes geese.
