Abstract :
Conventional and multiple trellis-coded 8-PSK modulation schemes designed for a Rician fading environment are evaluated over the EHF (20 GHz) mobile satellite channels. The propagation characteristics of the EHF mobile satellite channels are estimated and modeled. Computer simulation results of different trellis-coded modulation schemes are presented for performance comparison
