Abstract
A structure of an LMS-algorithm with /spl Sigma//spl Delta/ input signals is presented. The filter operates at the sampling frequency of the /spl Sigma//spl Delta/ signals but does not require more coefficients than an equivalent filter at the Nyquist rate. Decimation of the input signals is not required, although a low pass filter is required in the error path of the LMS algorithm. It is demonstrated that with a proper choice of this filter the proposed design can meet the performance of an equivalent PCM-LMS system.
