Abstract :
Oil production and processing industry result in a large number of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminants into groundwater system, destroy the original ecosystem and harm the human health. In this paper, groundwater system in an oil refinery was selected as the research object. In order to predict migration of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminants in groundwater system in the study area, effects of mechanical dispersion was considered and experiments and mathematical simulation methods was used to establish a two-dimensional transport model. The results showed that petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated area was 4.08km2 in dry season in 2008, while 4.56 km2 in wet season. But in 2013, it was 6.37 km2 and 7.17 km2 accordingly.
