Abstract

A database management system based upon the Clipper Development System by Nantucket Inc. has been designed to meet the administrative needs of the University of Louisville electrical engineering department for electronics shop management. The electrical engineering database management system (EEDBMS) was designed to control the department inventories, which consist of equipment, parts, and space, and to help manage the teaching assistant program. The system must be maintained and updated continuously and is designed to be used in a single-user environment, with one copy of the software installed in a microcomputer
