Abstract
The walnut shell, an agricultural waste, has been activated and used as an adsorbent for the adsorption of Direct and Reactive dyes from aqueous solution. Using a batch adsorption technique with respect to initial concentration and temperature the effects of various experimental parameters have been investigated. Equilibrium isotherms were analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) models.
