Abstract :
In order to fully explore and comprehensive utilization the resource of Dictyoploca japonica, the pupa protein was extracted form pupa of Dictyoploca japonica by sodium hydroxide in this study. The pH of the solubility of protein had been determined. The best condition of extracting pupa protein: the concentration of NaOH is 1.5%, with the temperature 70¿, the time 3 h and the pupa powder should be soaked by twenty-times extractive solvent. The obtained protein under condition above mentioned was light yellow or light brown color powdery solid with the max protein content is 84.38%, water content 7.28%, ash content 4.54%, oil content 0.85% and fiber content 1.28%, the rate of extraction was 53.47%. The result was beneficial to the further study on the extraction and using of protein from Dictyoploca japonica pupa.
