The origin and connotation of knowledge management is described systematically in this paper, and each kind of Ba that knowledge management took place based the SECI model is analyzed. By analyzing the connotation of web_based personal knowledge management, the conclusion is made that, the network environment is just the Ba for web-based personal knowledge management occurs. Six kinds of latest tools for personal knowledge management are introduced and their characteristics are analyzed to facilitate people to find more suitable tools of their own.
