Abstract :
Firstly, we introduce existing vertical/ horizontal system integration related standards, the objectives and solutions of those standards in FA / PA arena, some elicited multi technology issues which may stand in the way of integration itself. We introduce recommended additional integration concept FDI which may intend to overcome those issues. Secondly, we overview the device integration related technologies, client server frameworks and device configuration technologies including ISO 20242 standardization activities. Third, we propose new network/ device configuration technology based on proposed network system description methodology relating to FDIpsilas system topology. Forth, we discuss FDI DOM/DIM architecture which uses OPC-UA modeling, in the view of applying them to the implementation architecture to improve the effect of existing methodology of software reuse of manufacturing software unit (MSU) capability profiling (ISO 16100), also applying them to establish ISO 15745 ldquoApplication Processrdquo model. Finally we summarize discussions.
