Abstract
To suppress vehicle rollover and sideslip risk effectively, this paper adopts time AR model to forecast vehicle motion parameters. Based on the forecast parameters, control strategies are established to control the vehicle rollover through the process of control-by-wire steering controller and suppress the vehicle sideslip by means of inhibiting the increase of centroid cornering angle. The way of variable transmission ratio was adopted to prevent the emerge of Yawing moment which cause rollover and increase of centroid cornering angle so that vehicles could be placed out of the dangerous state, The simulation results show that the rollover and sideslip control doesn´t affect vehicle´s normal driving and also maintains its manipulation stability well. In addition, it can suppress the dangerous posture effectively when vehicles are in the state of rollover and sideslip so that it availably improves the vehicle´s active safety performance.
