Abstract :
We present an heterodyne frequency converter for tunable cw lasers. The laser emission from a cw tunable Ti:sapphire laser is injected inside the cavity of a local-oscillator laser based on an aperiodically poled crystal of lithium niobate doped with Yb3+ laser active ions and co-doped with MgO.
