  • Abstract
    Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems in combination with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) have become a promising candidate for fulfilling the requirements of next generation wireless systems, e.g. wireless LAN 802.11n. The sensitivity of OFDM systems to physical impairments is well-known, but the extension to multiple antenna schemes is under investigation in this paper. Generic and comprehensive simulation models are developed in a modular fashion to help a system designer predict the effect of component behaviour on performance of MIMO-OFDM communication systems
