Title :
Alternative communication software using database files
Author :
Cannon, Theodore W.
Abstract :
The author is developing alternative communication software which enables the speech-impaired user to communicate by entering number codes into a personal computer connected to a speech synthesizer. By adding alphabetical prefixes and suffixes to the codes, grammatically correct syntax can be created. Another unique feature is the use of database files to handle the code and word information. The software is particularly effective for ETRAN-N users
