Abstract
This paper present a method to identify and estimate gross errors for linear dynamic systems. This method is applied to the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) of a wind turbine. Gross error detection is used not only to improve the estimation accuracy of data reconciliation procedures but also to identify instrumentation problems by using statistical tests
