Abstract
In this work the performance of two high speed uplink packet access (HSUPA) techniques for enhance the third generation (3G) WCDMA reverse link was analyzed. The throughput increases were investigated for a combination of interference cancellation (IC) and multi-user detection (MUD) schemes and for node-B controlled hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) mechanisms. Simulations were done for ITU vehicular A (VA) channels, with different mobility scenarios, and the results were obtained by comparing the throughput for the all applied techniques
