Abstract :
A 16-¿ earpiece driver design with a built-in volume control for use in mobile phones or other portable devices is described. The fabrication was done with UMC 65-nm CMOS technology. The dual channel design features -91 dB THD at 2.5 Vpp, 1 kHz and 94 dB SNR in measurement while consuming 7.6 mW and 0.1 mm2 per channel.
