Abstract
PI VU is a New Visual Medium with PI VU, visual text communication becomes immediately available to limited sight, limited movement, deaf, and mute persons. PI VU Flash Reading Technology is an electronic kin to the well known `flash card´ learning transfer system used for over a century in the educational process. PI VU displays information from any computer text file, or the keyboard. One or more words at a time are centered in a fixed window on the screen, to communicate complete thoughts and ideas. The PI VU user controls all aspects of the information displayed: content, size, speed and direction of travel. PI VU allows you to receive electronic information at your maximum comprehension rate. Buy it´s nature, PI VU broadcasts a flashing text message to anyone within eyesight of the computer screen. Messages are easily seen and understood at distances of 50 feet or more. Deaf and muter users can key in messages on the keyboard and press the send button to communicate
