Title :
Elemental Driving Simulator
Author :

Abstract :
The Elemental Driving Simulator (EDS) is a low cost software-hardware simulation of the information processing demands of driving, for persons who may have cognitive deficits, including head injury and stroke survivors, as well as the elderly. The system will facilitate the identification of driving problems and prepare for intervention. Self judgments are contrasted with norm-referenced measures of steering control, reaction time, adjusting to changes, self-control, and consistency. The EDS operates on IBM-compatibles with CGA graphics and features machine-independent timing accurate to hundredths of a second
