Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of estimating the fluorescence background of a Raman spectrum was addressed. We proposed to remove the fluorescence background via curve fitting. Furthermore, wavelet packet transform was chosen to compress Raman spectra data in case the data need large space to store and long time to search. We presented two methods for data processing in Raman spectroscopy of high methoxy Pectin. As a result, both of them performed well and could provide a reference in data processing for Raman spectra.
