According to the characteristics of mine water from Tongkeng, the heavy metal Zn2+ ions in wastewater will be removed by composite flocculation. Through the experimental study on composite flocculation factors, containing drug types, drug ratio, drug time, pH value, stir time and stir intensity, analyzed the factors on the Zn2+ ions removal effect in wastewater treatment. The results show that through experimental parameters optimization, the removal rate can achieve 97% by the application of composite flocculation to treat mine water with Zn2+ ions. The effluent quality can satisfy national integrated wastewater discharge standard requirement.
