Nowadays study on recovery valuable metals from discarded electronic wastes has great significance for achieving secondary resources recycling and preventing environmental pollution. For separating and recycling Ag from Ag-Cu composite materials, some experiments have completed by using Ag-Cu composite material scraps, and the effect of leaching time, temperature and nitric-sulfuric mixed acid volume ratio have been discussed. The results showed that the optimization conditions are that nitric-sulfuric mixed acid volume ratio of 5:95, temperature of 55°C, leaching time of 25min. In the conditions, Ag can be leached selectively from Cu-based composite materials, Cu base is not eroded nearly.
