Abstract
Today, easy accessing and quick searching method for media files in the mass storage system is still a difficult problem. This paper proposed a Web based semantic storage system for MP3. This system uses metadata and tags as added attributes to describe MP3 files. MP3 files are presented to user in Web pages with file virtualization technology, and users can access and search MP3 files by separated storage of tags through browser. This system can increase storage efficient by accessing MP3 with multi-paths and searching MP3 with semantic method.
