Abstract :
Poyang Lake wetland is an important ecological functional areas against floods, improve the climate and achieve sustainable development in Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Region(PLEER). Wetland monitoring is the basis for its protection and exploitation. This article discusses wetland monitoring remote sensing technology in the PLEER. After analysis of remote sensing images using Landsat-7 specific methods for monitoring and image processing technology, a comprehensive map of all the band with a modified Optimum Index Factor (OIF) and spectral monitoring of the object distribution for spectral image fusion is proposed. Therefore the sensing picture with the different features on different maximum gray value is generated and easy to realize the visual interpretation by the computer automatically handling with. This is helpful to realize the wetland monitor decision support system.
