Abstract

Based on the statistical data of eastern and western regions of China in 2009, with multivariate analysis method, some comparisons of the two regions are made. Firstly, 26 indexes are collected including science, education, culture and health etc. On the basis of relativity analysis, indexes with larger correlation are deleted and only 17 of them are reserved. Then relying on these indexes, principal component analysis on Eastern and Western regions are made respectively which used to study the development situation of them. Finally, some comparative analyses are made between them.
