Abstract :
A finite element model is established for a featured opening valve flow channel. The finite element analyses for fluid flowing in the valve flow channel were completed by Fluent. Repeated simulations for many times were completed with fixed inlet pressure and varied outlet velocity. Finally, the valve cavitation critical speed was got in this featured opening. In the valve cavitation critical speed, the overall pressure distributions were exhibited. This study not only showed the valve cavitation more intuitively, but also provided theoretical principle for future optimizing design.
