Abstract :
This article discusses the flexibility and integration that can be provided to custom systems by programmable features on a commercially available microcontroller, the M68302 integrated multiprotocol processor. After a brief discussion of the M68302 architecture and of its programmed peripheral section, several applications that can take advantage of the programmable features of the peripheral section are described
