Abstract :
In this paper, a robust non-rigid multimodal image registration method is proposed using the local phase coherence representation (LPCR) as well as the residual complexity (RC) similarity measure. By integrating the LPCR and RC measure, we can find and track the non-rigid transformation of each pixel under diffeomorphism between the source and target images. Experiments using multimodal images are conducted to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method.
