Abstract :
Electromagnetic wave propagation over an irregular Earth surface is considered. The time-domain version of the parabolic wave equation is used to describe wide-band pulse evolution due to diffraction and surface dispersion. The Fourier transform is applied to convert the impedance boundary condition (BC) and nonlocal perfectly transparent BC into the time domain.
