Abstract :
This paper presents a proposal of voltage clamped resonant DC link snubber circuit topology and a next generation voltage source three-phase soft-switching active power filter incorporating auxiliary resonant DC link snubber treated here. In addition, this paper describes the correction processing of quasi resonant commutation time corresponding to dead time in order to improve the instantaneous harmonic compensation current output waveforms obtained from the voltage source three-phase zero voltage soft switching active power filter operating at high frequency switching modulation modes. Its effectiveness due to resonant commutation time correction technique is proved as compared with a hard switching active power filter
