Abstract :
This paper presents the laboratory implementation of Feedback Linearization based control (FBLC) for the power control of the grid connected doubly fed induction generator. Conventional control schemes based on the linearized model of machine does not match the nonlinear nature of machine to some extent. The proposed non linear controller exhibits good transient response and can perfectly track the references to achieve decoupled power control. Laboratory test results show excellent response in achieving decoupled power control thereby validating the effectiveness of the control approach.
