Abstract :
This paper deals with the application of intelligent dual input power system stabilizers to a multi-machine system using adaptive network fuzzy inference system (ANFIS). The ANFIS is trained to compute optimum parameters of the dual input power system stabilizer in real-time following variation in loading condition. A systematic approach for designing intelligent dual input power system stabilizers for a multimachine system has been presented. Investigations reveal that the performance of intelligent dual input power system stabilizers in a multimachine system is quite robust under wide variations in loading conditions.
