Abstract
In this paper, a design scheme suitable for the multiobjective fuzzy control problem is proposed based on a newly defined measure of inconsistency. For this purpose, the existing definition is critically examined and then a new definition is proposed. Finally, it is shown that the indices can be adopted as certainty factors for the rule base and that by means of a simple experiment, the proposed method is proven to be effective in comparison with the previous methods
