Modelling and analysis of value chain of scientific and technological innovation

This paper, drawing on technological innovation theory and value chain theory, establish conceptual model of scientific and technological innovation. The paper analyzes basic activities and assistant activities in scientific and technological innovation value chain, puts forward a scientific and technological innovation process model of the interaction between science and technology and market in the value chain. Based on national policy and practice, the study differentiates each innovation subject and discusses their activities and relationship in value chain. Finally, this paper analyzes the main reasons of dislocations of technological supply versus demand, high risks and feedback mechanism shortage which exist in the current scientific and technological innovation value chain operation and further gives some strategies.
