Abstract
China is famous for its high savings rate, but in fact, its savings per capita, savings per household and annual income per capita are very limited. The ordinary families in the mainland of China face the reality of few investment channels, the high cost of living, heavy taxes and low social security and welfare. This article discusses the dilemma of the ordinary families´ financial management in the mainland of China, and gives some suggestions.
